Samaiah’s Grandma and the King
Paperback
Carolyn J Hudson is the Founding Director of Silent Screams Inc. a resource and community organization for sex crime survivors. At one point in her life, Carolyn was fearful of not living long enough for her granddaughter to know her and for her to enjoy her granddaughter. Because of that anxiety and fear Ms. Hudson compiled the most pressure part of her life in a book, her journeys and experiences with God. Here is “Samaiah’s Grandma and the King”.
At first glance of the title, one might think this is a children’s book. In a way it is—it speaks to the child and adult in each of us. It is a masterful piece of short stories that invites the reader on a literary journey. As a collection of short stories, it travels from the lows in the valleys to the highs in the heavens. The challenges, downfalls, and victories of life are explored as the narrator is repeatedly yanked from her comfort zone and forced to use her faith. Travel with her as she passes to her granddaughter true stories of her adventures with God, the King. It’s a unique, thought-provoking, piece of literature.
