Lisa Kendzior is a leader of the DFW chapter of SNAP. SNAP (Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests) is a worldwide organization that has fought clergy sex abuse in the Catholic church for years. Beginning in 2002, when the story of clergy abuse and subsequent cover up by the Catholic hierarchy hit the world stage through the Boston Globe’s investigation (the movie Spotlight), Lisa became an immediate supporter of victims.

Not a survivor herself, but with an extended family member who was, she joined the survivor movement as a practicing Catholic. After moving into the role of SNAP Support Group facilitator in 2007, she has continuously advocated on behalf of survivors and ultimately left the Catholic church. As a volunteer leader Lisa has a fighting passion for survivors of clergy sex abuse. Being a very vocal voice against clergy sex abuse Lisa does whatever it takes to expose predators and fight for justice for survivor’s. A wife and mother of two, she resides with her husband of 36 years in Southlake, TX.
